About the course
Sports wagering has grown recently in popularity and has become legalized in most of the United States; however, there are many risks and dangers associated with it that could negatively impact the interscholastic athletic experience for students across the country.
In this course, you will learn about the definition of sports wagering, problem gambling and its many factors, the risks and consequences associated with sports betting, the importance of competition integrity in interscholastic athletics, and overall prevention strategies.
