The NFHS School Honor Roll Program recognizes schools that have their coaches complete professional development through NFHS Learning Center coursework.
Schools that apply and meet the requirements earn a banner to hang in their school to highlight this national achievement.

Course Requirements
Level 1 Course Requirements
In order to be recognized at Level 1, all head and assistant coaches must have completed the following courses:
Concussion in Sports
Sudden Cardiac Arrest
Protecting Students from Abuse
Fundamentals of Coaching
Level 2 Course Requirements
In order to be recognized at Level 2, all head and assistant coaches must have completed the following courses:
Heat Illness Prevention
Student Mental Health and Suicide Prevention
Level 3 Course Requirements
In order to be recognized at Level 3, all head and assistant coaches must have completed the following courses:
Sportsmanship
Bullying, Hazing and Inappropriate Behaviors
Engaging Effectively With Parents
Teaching and Modeling Behavior
