About the course
A state component is the delivery of content specific or unique to that state that a coach is responsible for knowing and is tested on. In this state component coaches will be given an overview of the Alaska School Activities Association, review the state constitution and bylaws, and learn how the ASAA Handbook is organized. This State Component is included in the Fundamentals of Coaching course in Alaska.
NFHS National Coaching Credentials
The NFHS Learning Center offers a 3-level national coaching credential that helps you gain knowledge you can use to provide a fun, educational, and a safer environment for your students.
This national credential was developed for individuals who are currently coaching or aspire to coach at the interscholastic level. The goal is to enhance the ability of the coach to better serve students, the school, the community, and the profession of coaching.
